ACGME: The Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education is the accrediting body for all residency programs in the US.  Visit their website to read the essential elements of psychiatry training.

APA: The American Psychiatric Association provides a number of helpful links for psychiatry trainees.

ABPN: The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology is the certifying authority that administers the written and oral examinations in psychiatry and neurology to graduates of US Psychiatry and Neurology residencies.

AADPRT:  The American Association of Directors of Psychiatry Residency Training is, just as it sounds, the primary organization for directors of psychiatry residency training.  Their website includes information on psychiatry training as well as fellowship awards for psychiatry trainees.
