What is Profiles?Profiles is a research networking and expertise mining software tool for faculty. It not only shows traditional directory information, but also illustrates how each person is connected to others in the broad research community. This page assists faculty with making edits to their profile. Profile Setup UMMS Information Services maintains UMass Profiles. New faculty members get Profiles once they are in the HR system. Please review your profile for possible edits. Profile EditsEdit Name, Title, School/Department/Program Affiliations, Business Address, and/or Phone Number OFA maintains the database for the aforementioned Profile fields. Please review your profile and email Faculty Affairs if you need to update those fields. Edit Photo, Awards and Honors, Post Doc positions, Rotations, Narrative, and Publications Please edit the aforementioned Profile fields using this tutorial link. Upload Profile Photo or Fix Broken Images in Your NarrativePersonal photos should be square and less than 256k or they will distort upon upload. Send your personal photo or narrative photos to the UMMS IS Help Desk. If Faculty Affairs has recently taken your photo, you can request an email copy already formatted for upload.
