Faculty Onboarding: Getting Started at UMMS
Welcome to the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS)! We are pleased that you have selected UMMS as a place to develop and expand your professional career. The Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) Faculty Onboarding Program is designed to give new faculty a successful start to their careers at UMMS. The program consists of three parts:
- Orientation: New Faculty Orientation is offered every three months and is designed to provide information and career guidance.
- Mentoring: New faculty are matched with a more experienced Onboarding Mentor who will guide and introduce them to the institution.
- Resources: Each new faculty member receives a Welcome Package of information about the institution and local area;
