Academic Appointments

New faculty appointments in the School of Medicine are reviewed and approved in accordance with the Academic Personnel Policy (Doc. T95-022 as amended by the Board of Trustees August 23, 2006). Appointments are reviewed by the Personnel Action Committee (PAC) of the School of Medicine and the Executive Council on a monthly basis and require final approval from the Dean. Appointment materials are due to the Office of Faculty Affairs by the 15th of the month for review at the following month’s PAC meeting.  We encourage you to contact Randi Segatore, Academic Personnel Specialist, at 508-856-4268 or email randi.segatore@umassmed.edu with any questions.
