- Resources: Each new faculty member receives a Welcome Package of information about the institution and local area; additional information is available in the Getting Started at UMMS pages of our website.

New Faculty Orientation
The purpose of the new faculty orientation is to provide new faculty at all levels with an overview of the institution and to assist them in beginning a successful career at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS). The orientation will cover a core set of information that is essential for all faculty, as well as information tailored to specific needs for academic advancement and professional development.
