Julia Johnson, MD talks on Part-time Careers in Medicine

April 2011 - For employees and employers alike, part-time careers in health care have increased in interest and success. At last month's  Umass Memorial Diversity Office celebration of Women’s History Month, Julia Johnson, MD, chair and professor of obstetrics & gynecology shared her observations during her presentation, Changing How We Work: Part-time Careers in Medicine.

Julia noted that employers benefit from a more productive workforce and witness an added financial value along with high quality of care provided by part-time staff.
