UMass Medical School students, faculty and staff are invited to share their musical talents by volunteering to perform at UMass Memorial Medical Center. Caring Talents: Healing through the Arts is an initiative to bring music’s healing powers to visitors of UMass Memorial Medical Center, our clinical partner.
“We are looking for talented employees and students to perform for patients, visitors and staff,” said Crystal Lehto, MBA, patient experience project manager for UMass Memorial.
Past performances by medical school participants have included Chair and Professor of Psychiatry Douglas Ziedonis, MD, on the Native American flute and, most recently, bluegrass selections by Lamar Soutter Library band LEGG Up.
