UMass president highlights UMMS achievements in Telegram editorial

University of Massachusetts President Robert L. Caret, PhD, outlines the benefits of the recent $49 million increase in state funding to the University in an editorial, “A booster shot for education,” published in the Nov. 7 Telegram & Gazette.


Focusing on faculty, and student accomplishments at UMass Worcester, Dr. Caret lauds the milestones reached over the past year.

“Massachusetts has made an investment in UMass. It is not just an investment in projects that will provide our state with jobs and dollars; it is an investment in people,” Caret writes.
