The inaugural Albert Sherman Center Scientific Symposium took place earlier this month in the state-of-the-art facility dedicated to collaboratively solving complex biomedical science problems and finding cures for diseases. Headlined by two Nobel Laureates, the event was an opportunity for the UMass Medical School scientific community to come together in a celebration of science.
In opening the event, Chancellor Michael F. Collins noted that the special symposium marked the opening of the Albert Sherman Center, saying, “The building, programs and the people housed within it represent the very promising future of our institution.”
