Commonwealth Medicine senior associate co-chairs Medicaid in Education conference

Teresa Pastore, a senior associate for School-Based Programs and Local Initiatives within theCenter for Health Care Financing, is co-chair of the National Alliance for Medicaid in Education Inc.’s 11th annual conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from Oct. 8-11.

 

UMMS is a conference sponsor, and will have a booth at the event, to be held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.

The booth will feature the new UDiscovering product,Learning ABA!. The product, developed by researchers and child development experts at UMMS, is a web-based, interactive learning program to provide introductory training in applied behavior analysis.

In her position at CHCF, a unit of the medical school’s Commonwealth Medicine division, Pastore helps states and local schools capture federal reimbursements for Medicaid-covered services provided in public school settings.
