UMass Medical School was cast in a bright blue light Tuesday night, in recognition of National Autism Awareness Month. Hundreds of landmarks around the world participated in the “Light It Up Blue” event, in an effort to help shine a light on autism. The lighting followed a UMMS community event, Advancing Autism Awareness and Acceptance, hosted by the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry’s Child and Adolescent Neurodevelopment Initiative (CANDI).
