The deadline for securing an official Boston Marathon bib in support of the UMass ALS Champion Fund has been extended to Friday, Jan. 18. Runners must commit to raising $6,000 each for the fund, which supports ALS research at UMass Medical School.
The 2012 UMass ALS Champion Fund Boston Marathon team raised more than $80,000 for the cause.
