Boston Business Journal: Sherman Center will make history

Chancellor Michael F. Collins spoke to the Boston Business Journal about the soon-to-be open Albert Sherman Center and how the building will foster collaboration among scientist, ultimately leading to new therapies and treatments for human disease.

Chancellor Collins said the 512,000-square-foot, nine-story building aims to improve collaboration within and among the Medical School’s specialized research teams. “I believe, in that building, we will change the course of history of diseases,” Collins said. “One of the things that is very special about our medical school is the collaborative spirit of our faculty. Creating special spaces like the Sherman Center will facilitate that collaboration.”
