“I am thrilled to be leading UHealthSolutions during this key turning point in its evolution,” said David Crosby, managing director of UHealthSolutions, who was hired in July. “Our organization’s greatest asset is our staff. Our employees are the ambassadors of our brand and our organization. They embody the company’s focus—bringing innovation to the business of health.”

UHealthSolutions will continue to provide business process outsourcing services, such as third-party administration and call centers for Massachusetts residents enrolled in the Health Safety Net and Prescription Advantage pharmaceutical assistance programs, as well as for other public and private health care organizations. Now, the organization also offers full-service patient communications services for hospitals, community health centers and state agencies, which include live or automated appointment scheduling and reminders, call triage, member communication materials and 24/7 answering service.

A new website, www.uhealthsolutions.org, highlights the full range of UHealthSolutions capabilities, including third-party billing and claiming; enrollment and eligibility; coordination of benefits; inbound/outbound call center services; advanced call center technology; and Healthcare Explorer software and predictive identification and analysis solutions.

“This is a very important and exciting time for UHealthSolutions and its affiliate UMass Medical School,” said Thomas D. Manning, deputy chancellor for Commonwealth Medicine and member of the UHealthSolutions board of directors. “UHealthSolutions is committed to providing exceptional health care services through innovation and specialization in the delivery of clinical, administrative and analytic solutions.”
