UMass Chan community members invited to town hall meeting for a project update

UMass Medical School community members are invited to a town hall meeting for an update on the Albert Sherman Center construction project. The meeting will take place on Monday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Pappas Amphitheatre (Amphitheatre I) in the Medical School building on the Worcester campus. 

There will be an update on research and educational space programming, a review of laboratory layout details and a presentation on the amenity spaces, including plans for the café, auditorium and fitness center. 

In addition to an overview from Terence R. Flotte, MD, the Celia and Isaac Haidak Professor of Medical Education, provost, executive deputy chancellor and dean of the school of medicine, representatives from Architectural Resources Cambridge (ARC) will present current renderings and floor layouts. 

There will also be an update on the power plant expansion and the new parking garage, and an overview of the construction schedule. All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.
