Scheduling an Appointment
New appointments are scheduled by the Neurology Call Center at (508) 793-6555.
Preparing For Your Visit
Evaluations and/or treatments may require several hours to complete. Additional appointments may be needed to complete the initial evaluation. These will be scheduled at your convenience for subsequent visits.
If you think your situation is urgent, please let us know when you call. A clinical nurse will call you to discuss the changes in your condition that you are experiencing and evaluate the urgency of the situation. If necessary, your appointment will be rescheduled to an earlier date.
For all appointments please adhere to the following guidelines:
THE INITIAL VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR 90 MINUTES AND ROUTINE FOLLOW-UP VISITS FOR 25-40 MINUTES.
WE STRIVE TO BE ON TIME, HOWEVER, SOME PATIENTS MAY HAVE URGENT MEDICAL ISSUES THAT REQUIRE A LONGER VISIT THAN ANTICIPATED.
PLEASE HELP US BE ON TIME BY FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES.
We ask that appointments be cancelled at least two business days in advance, so that we may offer that appointment to another patient.
During business hours (8:30-5:00 PM, M-F) phone calls should be made to the Neurology Call Center (508) 793-6555.
For urgent calls outside normal business hours, call the hospital main number, (508) 334-1000 and ask that the Neurology resident on-call be paged.
For emergencies, call 911.
