Research and Teaching Interests
Ms. Keough serves as Director of Educational Programs for the Meyers Primary Care Institute and Project Director for the DW Reynolds Foundation's Comprehensive Program to Strengthen Physicians' Training in Geriatrics. She coordinates the efforts of multidisciplinary faculty to develop and implement innovative educational curricula to augment traditional medical training. She is an Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where she also serves as faculty advisor to the Health Professionals for Human Rights student interest group.
Ms. Keough previously worked internationally on public health and human rights projects in post- war Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo, under the auspices of Physicians for Human Rights. Prior to that she served as Director for Education and Research at the East Boston Community Health Center, where she managed the planning and implementation of numerous community-based studies. Ms. Keough holds a Master of Public Health degree from Boston University School of Public Health.
