Dr. Yood graduated from Yale College and received his medical degree from the University of Oregon Health & Sciences University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and was a clinical and research fellow in rheumatology at the Boston University School of Medicine.
Dr. Yood is currently director of the Division of Rheumatology at Saint Vincent Hospital, Director of Fallon Clinic’s Division of Rheumatology, and Medical Director of the Fallon Clinic Research Department. He is also Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. In 2004, Dr. Yood was elected to the Board of Trustees of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Yood's research activities have focused on the use of administrative databases and health plan populations to evaluate the incidence and treatment of rheumatic diseases.
