Opportunities

- Opportunities exist for clinical electives, language/cultural immersion, and research
- Clinical students may do two 4-week clinical rotations and two 4-week non-clinical rotations abroad for credit
|
- Although many students opt for electives in third world countries, opportunities are available in all regions of the world
- Students usually go abroad the summer after their first year and/or in their fourth year

- Although the emphasis in the office is on international experiences we also link students with domestic cross-cultural training in Community Health Centers and the Indian Health Service
