The Medical School has eight Mothers' Rooms where breastfeeding mothers can go to feed their babies or pump breast milk. The rooms are located in the following places:
University Campus: S6-100A and S6-100B - both locations are equipped with a hospital grade Medela pump; mothers must bring their own accessories. NEW ROOM COMING SOON LATE SPRING OF 2013
South Street Campus: Two private spaces located on the second floor of building 1-SHR 1-2, both spaces are equipped with a hospital grade Medela pump; mothers must bring their own accessories.

UMMS provides financial assistance of $1,000 on a per child, per family basis for certain IRS qualified adoption expenses. Adoption Assistance is available for non-unit employees who are benefit eligible. Qualified expenses include attorney fees, court costs, adoption fees and traveling expenses.
