The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) is committed to identifying and training the future leaders of biomedical research. We offer an outstanding, multifaceted research training experience and are proud to support and encourage students who choose to pursue their advanced research degrees with us.

The GSBS continues to keep pace with the growth in our research faculty and research infrastructure. Today we have approximately 250 GSBS research faculty and 400 graduate students. More than 275 students have graduated and have assumed leadership positions in academic, government and industrial research.

As our school grows in reputation, our early commitment to interdisciplinary training remains constant. Our faculty is committed to the training of biomedical scientists who are prepared to conduct leading-edge research on problems related to human disease and who are dedicated to excellence in education.
