Cell Biology Graduate Student, Charusheila Ramkumar, Presents Poster at American Association of Cancer Research

Charusheila Ramkumar, a graduate student in the Department of Cell Biology, presented a poster titled " Smurf2-deficient mice exibit increased tumorigenesis " at AACR (American Association of Cancer Research) Conference on Frontiers in Basic Research. Charusheila was the first author together with her mentor, Dr. Hong Zhang for the poster. In her poster, she described her recent finding, for the first time, that Smurf2 acts as a tumor suppressor. Her poster was well accepted at the meeting.
