We look forward to reconnecting with you at the annual Alumni Breakfast, scheduled for Friday, June 4. As always, we are hoping to welcome familiar faces as well as those of you who are back for the first time. A program following the breakfast is being planned. We promise to have you out early so you can make plans to visit with classmates.

Last year, the UMass President’s Office launched the UMass Online Alumni Community, which not only keeps you in touch with Worcester alumni, but also alumni from three other campuses. Since that time, we hope you have been utilizing the site and finding old and new friends. If not, please check it out at www.NetworkUMass.com/Medical.

The Graduate Student Nursing Organization (GSNO) continues to be active in coordinating gatherings and educational events for students. The group continues to be involved with the interdisciplinary offerings here at UMass Worcester, connecting with students from the School of Medicine and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

A challenge to our alumni: What would you like to know more about? Have you contacted us to let us know about your career or important events you have been involved in as an advanced practice nurse? How can we best stay connected, since we have all graduated from more than one college or university in our careers?

In closing, this will be Sue Fitzpatrick’s farewell as GSN alumni co-chair as she becomes busy with travel and spending more time with her family and friends. A heartfelt thanks to her for her dedication, resourcefulness and overall tremendous energy. You will be missed, Sue!

Please mark Friday, June 4, on your calendars and plan to spend the morning with our alumni—new and old. Looking forward to it!
