Family Health Center

Family Health Center of Worcester (FHC) has been an active site since 1974 for the university's medical school Family Practice Residency Program. FHC provides comprehensive high-quality health care to individuals and families living in the Worcester area.  Primary, urgent, and specialty medical care is offered in the context of a family practice model.

In addition, the health center provides many other services including dental, nutrition counseling, mental health, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.

FHC serves a diverse population of approximately 18,000 individuals who utilize over 100,000 visits each year.  In 2004, 4,986 dental patients received preventative, restorative, and/or surgical care totaling over 13,621 visits.

We are excited to work with newly graduating dentists.  By hosting the  program, we will exchange the latest technology and information in the dental field with the wisdom and experience gained by delivering oral health care services that are integrated within a large urban community health center environment."
