Dr. Gautreau is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Department of Emergency Medicine. He is currently the Clinical Director for the UMass Memorial Healthcare-Clinton Hospital Emergency Department. He completed his Emergency Medical Services Fellowship and graduated from his Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and graduated from the University of Health Sciences, the Chicago Medical School. He is an active participant in national, regional and local EMS organizations.
Dr. Gautreau's interests include the administration and operational aspects of EMS services including ground, air medical and tactical EMS. He served as a flight surgeon in the USAF Reserve and was deployed to Germany as part of the Iraq war effort.
