Celebrating the lives of those touched by breast cancer

On Wednesday, October 10, 2012, friends gathered once again for an emotional and inspirational evening to celebrate the lives of those touched by breast cancer and to hear from physicians about the potential of the research under way at UMass Medical School and UMass Memorial. The candle-lighting ceremony, in which each lit candle honored or memorialized a friend or loved one, was a highlight of Pink — Lighting the Way... The hundreds of pink candles cast a radiant glow over the room and emanated the hope we have that a cure is on the horizon.
