Call/Consult Service

Consult service responsibility rotates monthly, for a total of 6 months of call for each resident over 3 years. Consult service responsibilities include coverage of the University and Memorial Hospitals, urgent dermatology clinic at the Hahnemann Campus, and phone triage.

The consult resident takes beeper call from home Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights with attending backup. Residents with an attending cover weekend and holiday call every sixth weekend.
