Stipend & Tuition

All students receive stipend support and are considered full-time non-benefitted employees of UMass Medical School (UMMS). Student stipend for 2012-13 is $29,500.

A full tuition waiver is provided to each full-time graduate student.

Health & Dental

Health insurance and dental insurance (limited coverage) is provided for each student with the premium paid by UMMS. A spouse and/or dependent children can be added with the additional premiums paid by the student.

Breaks & Holidays

Up to 4 weeks of paid scheduled breaks per calendar year.

Student Costs

Students' costs include books, fees (limited), software, parking permit and requires that students have a laptop computer which meets UMMS specifications (cost may be included in student loan).
