Each year, the Clinical & Population Health Research Program with the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, sponsor recruitment weekends on campus to host highly-qualified Applicants in order to interview them and allow them to meet the people and see the facilities of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. To be eligible for an invitation to the Recruitment Weekend, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Visa holder residing in the United States or Puerto Rico at the time of the programs. Participation in a recuitment weekend or an alternate visit is a required component of the application process and therefore those invited applicants who decline the opportunity to visit campus and participate in interviews will have their applications withdrawn by the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
"The CPHR program has allowed me the flexibility to pursue two of my long-standing interests (nursing home research and cancer-related symptom management) and develop a doctoral dissertation that I’m truly excited about. Thanks to our immediate immersion into research activities, I’ve also developed meaningful professional relationships with renowned experts in aging, pharmacoepidemiology and health services research."
