UMass Memorial Radiation Therapy Certificate Program
Radiation Therapists are essential members of the radiation oncology team that provide total quality care for each patient undergoing a prescribed course of radiation treatment. The radiation therapist delivers the prescribed amount of radiation to the precise target site while assessing and reporting patient progress throughout the course of treatment.
The mission of the UMass Memorial Radiation Therapy Program is to provide a quality education in radiation therapy through didactic and clinical experiences designed to enable our students to become knowledgeable and technically proficient radiation therapists.
The Program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), 20 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 2850, Chicago, IL 60606, 313-704-5300, FAX: 423-304-5304, email: email@example.com, website: www.jrcert.org.
