Mary Marshall
Manager, Conference Center and Special Events 

As Manager of the Hoagland-Pincus Conference Center, Mary draws upon her extensive experience in the hotel and restaurant industry to best serve our clients.  She earned a Master of Professional Studies from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, NY. Upon graduation she began her career with Hotel InterContinental, serving in management capacities in both the New York City and Miami locations. She also worked in a variety of public and private organizations before assuming her current position at the Hoagland-Pincus in 1999. Mary is responsible for the development, planning, administration, and ongoing evaluation of all events, expositions, and meetings here at the Hoagland-Pincus. She is happy to be able to share her talents and experiences with the university and commonwealth communities. 

Lisa Casiano
Conference Center Coordinator

Lisa joined our staff as the Conference Center Coordinator in July 2008.  She recently earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Event/Entertainment Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.  Prior to her enrollment at Johnson & Wales, Lisa planned and organized many social events.  In particular, birthdays, baby showers, holiday celebrations and weddings.  Her background includes a seven year history as a Patient Access Service Representative with Umass Memorial Healthcare.  Lisa provided support to emergency room patients and families who were under stressful circumstances.  Lisa's goal is to provide the best service to the clients of the Hoagland-Pincus Conference Center.  At the Hoagland-Pincus, Lisa will most likely be your first contact and will gladly assist you throughout the planning process.
