3rd Annual Academic and Health Policy Conference on Correctional Health

Commonwealth Medicine’s leadership recognizes the need for correctional health professionals to share research, scholarship, and health policy. As the health care consulting division of UMass Medical School, we will hold the 3rd Annual Academic and Health Policy Conference on Correctional Health on Dec. 3–4, 2009 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The event is co-sponsored by Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Correctional health and juvenile justice professionals from across the nation will present the results of research studies and discuss the unique challenges of their fields, as well as their strategies for dealing with unprecedented growth in detainee populations.
