The MHARN is a part of the Systems and Psychosocial Advances Research Center (formerly Center for Mental Health Services Research) that expands on the dissemination and research functions of the Center to reach a wide audience of providers across the state of Massachusetts. The goals of the MHARN are to facilitate the translation of research findings into practice and bring together providers with researchers to engage in new research on services provided in the community.

The goals of the MHARN are threefold:

  1. Dissemination of research findings on evidence-based practices and their implementation to mental health agencies and providers of services statewide.
  2. Engagement of community providers and consumers in dialogue with academics about research and evaluation on community practices
  3. Collaboration with community agencies in grant funded services research on topics of mutual interest
