We offer a number of pathways for people to cultivate a sense of well-being, confidence, and creativity:
THE STRESS REDUCTION PROGRAM – Since 1979 more than 19,000 people have completed our eight-week mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program, an intensive training that asks participants to draw on their inner resources and natural capacity to actively engage in caring for themselves and finding greater balance, ease, and peace of mind.
OASIS INSTITUTE – Our institute for mindfulness-based professional education and training is a school for a new generation of professionals intent on learning, from the inside out, how to integrate mindfulness into their disciplines and endeavors. Training teachers of MBSR is at the core of the Oasis Institute mission.
ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE – For more than 10 years years, we have hosted a unique international meeting of mindfulness-oriented clinicians, researchers, and educators who gather to share scientific findings, clinical approaches, teaching experiences, and ideas.
evolve... - is a comprehensive pathway for you, your colleagues, communities and organizations to explore the power and potential of mindfulness practices in your life – at work and at home.
RESEARCH INVESTIGATING MINDFULNESS – From the very beginning, we have been dedicated to investigating and understanding mindfulness and the mind-body connection through pilot investigations, small studies, and large-scale federally-funded research studies.

Training Teachers to Deliver Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Principles and Standards During the course of the past year or so, these Principles and Standardsfor the training of teachers to deliver mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) have been developed by a cohort of long-standing MBSR teachers from America and Europe. This is meant to be a livingdocument, one that will be revised, refined, and articulated more fully over time with the assistance of MBSR teachers world-wide. For now, if you are aligned with these Principles and Standards, we, the signatories, ask you to post them on your website and circulate them among the MBSR teacher communities where you live and work.
