Bio

Anne has been teaching MBSR in Ireland for the past decade to a wide and varied population. When Anne commenced teaching Mindfulness, MBSR was unknown to many in Ireland and along with a small number of teachers, she has been an integral part of the significant growth and development of MBSR in many areas of society. Her work has brought Mindfulness into schools, addiction centres, health care facilities, corporate business, the prison service, non-profit organisations and the public in general.

Anne is a Social Entrepreneurs Ireland awardee for her work in introducing Mindfulness Programmes into the Education sector.

In 2013 Anne became the first CFM Certified MBSR Teacher in Ireland. As part of CFM’s global community, Anne’s teaching has brought her back to the U.S. where she has worked in Practicum Teacher Trainings. She is the host organiser and co-teacher for CFM’s Teacher Trainings in Ireland.

Anne’s passion now is the teaching, mentoring and supporting of the next generation of MBSR teachers in Ireland and Europe in order to help secure the safe passage of the MBSR lineage into the future.
