My first experience with anesthesiology began between my first and second years of medical school, when I helped to create an epidural database for the Department of Anesthesiology at Hershey Medical Center. It was this initial exposure to regional anesthesia that sparked my interest in the field, and continues to be one of the aspects of anesthesia I enjoy most.
After spending four years in Hershey, PA for medical school, I returned home to Boston where I completed my internship at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, and my residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. I spent one year as a fellow in regional anesthesia at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and have recently returned to join the anesthesia group at the Memorial campus.
The Memorial campus is an ideal work environment to practice anesthesia, as it provides both a wide case variety and diverse patient population that present challenging and interesting anesthetics.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing, biking, traveling, and attending sporting events.
