MC2020 Centered on Care

Medical Center Modernization Project

University and Memorial Campuses

UMass Memorial

Caring for our patients is at the center of all we do.

We think our facilities should reflect that.

MC2020: Centered on Care

Here's what modernization means

- More comfortable, quiet spaces for healing.

- Inviting and restful public areas for family and friends.

- Ceiling lifts in patient rooms, improving safety for all.

- Easy-to-navigate hallways and easy-to-find elevators.

- New care spaces, including a dialysis unit, a critical decision/observation unit and an intermediate care unit.

- Fluid movement and communication among care teams.

- Materials and finishes that are easy to maintain.

This is one of the most significant modernization projects in UMass Memorial Medical Center's history.

With your help, it will be one of the best.

Spaces ranging from patient rooms and visitor lounges to an entry garden, care units and an inpatient floor can be named with gifts and pledges starting at $25,000.
