Enrichment Programs Serving Culturally Diverse Underserved Populations
for the UMass Intercampus Baccalaureate MD Pathway Program

Dear Students,

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts
Medical School has a long tradition of serving underserved populations. In order to truly serve these populations, it is important to appreciate both local communities and the communities that
these individuals have come from abroad.

We hope that this website will provide a virtual medical school "home" for you in our Department.
We have provided links to a variety of current programs that we support for our medical students
and modules to help you understand the discipline of family medicine and it's role in serving
underserved populations in local communities and in global health.
