Doctoral Student Education
The Meyers Primary Care Institute (MPCI) faculty plays an important role in the education of PhD and MD/PhD students and clinical researchers at the University of Massachusetts Medical School’s Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Clinical and Population Health Research Program. This includes delivering courses related to epidemiologic and health services research methods, and teaching and mentoring doctoral students in clinical and population health research. We also offer health services research laboratory experiences during semester-long research rotations.
MPCI faculty mentor individual doctoral students and serve on thesis committees for students in the Clinical and Population Health Research Program and Millennial PhD program.
