MassHealth Training Forum

A Wealth of Information and Resources

The MassHealth Training Forum (MTF) completed its fifth year of operations at the close of fiscal year 2008. Sponsored by the Office of Medicaid, in partnership with the Office of Community Programs (OCP), MTF’s goal is to provide accurate and timely information relating to MassHealth operations and policies to health care organizations and community agencies that serve MassHealth members.

MTF program components include five regional meetings each quarter, featuring presentations by experienced MassHealth and other State agency representatives; regular e-mail updates on program and policy changes; and a web site offering online meeting registration, meeting materials and MassHealth updates.

Because of the current environment in Massachusetts with health care reform actively underway, MTF has proven to be a very important resource to participants. Attendance numbers have grown, more participants are accessing the web site for information, and the participants are spreading the word to others about attending MTF.
