Stress Reduction Program

The Stress Reduction Program consists of eight weekly classes and one all-day class. There are 30 hours of direct instruction.
Morning classes meet from 9:00-11:30 am; evening classes meet from 6:00-8:30 pm.

Note: The first class is extended an additional thirty minutes and the last class is extended an additional hour.

The required all-day class for the Spring 2014 session is Sunday, June 8, from 8:45am - 4:30pm.

We want you to have the best opportunity to pick, in advance, the class that is your first choice. When you schedule your Orientation Session, please be prepared to choose one of the class days and times listed above.

For the sake of continuity, it is best that you attend all sessions of the class for which you have signed up. If for any reason, you are unable to attend your regularly scheduled class, we encourage you to make up the class by attending a different class that same week.

For you to fully benefit from this program, you must be willing to make a strong commitment to attend all classes and to practice daily home assignments for eight weeks.


Orientation Sessions are conducted in Center for Mindfulness classroom at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Shrewsbury Campus. We are located at The Hoagland Pincus Conference Center, 222 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545. Please click here for map
