UMass Medical School researchers have authored two briefs in an eight-report series on juvenile justice reforms that is part of a two-year, $2-million initiative overseen by the federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. "Can Risk Assessment Improve Juvenile Justice Practices?" was authored by UMMS researchers Gina Vincent, Laura Guy, Nathan Cook, Bernice Gershenson, Melissa Paiva, and Rachael Perrault.
