As part of a the UMass Department of Psychiatry's focus on promoting recovery-based care and research, CMHSR faculty are playing central roles in a SAMHSA-funded Policy Academy awarded to Massachusetts to develop policies for increasing peer services state-wide through coordination with state agencies, community-based services and peer supports.
