Charlene Baron Honored with BioCommunications Association Service Award
The BioCommunications Association presented Charlene Baron with The Ralph Creer Service Award at it's annual meeting on June 22, 2012. The award in honor of the BCA's founding president, recognizes those who have served the Association and its members with distinction.
Charlene was honored "for distinquished service to the Association and the ideals to which it aspires, spearheading over multiple years the migration of the BCA BioImages professional exhibiton from print format to electronic format, guiding several web site revisions and serving as BCA's primary interface to web site and internet service providers, and admirably serving BCA in leadership roles in Chapter, House of Delegates, Board of Governors, and officer roles, including President. She has participated in an unselfish way, with a joyous spirit and with much hard work. BCA has been well served for many years."
The BioCommunications Association, or BCA, is an international association of media professionals who create and use quality images in visual communications for teaching, documentation and presentations in the life sciences and medicine.
