Ana A. Liso, MD
Ana joined the CCNI in 2011 as a Research Fellow. She is coming from Switzerland, awarded with a prospective research grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation. She’s born in Spain where she obtained her license as MD, afterwards she went to Switzerland where she did the double residency in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and psychotherapist. Her research interests are focused in brain and cognitive development, Pediatric Bipolar Disorder and ADHD with a main interest in neuroimaging studies.
Currently, Ana is doing neuroimaging study in children with Pediatric Bipolar Disorder. She is also conducting studies with an animal model of ADHD, testing Complementary alternative medicines (CAM) for the improvement in ADHD related impairments. She is also investigating the effect of these CAM in the brain with different techniques of animal neuroimaging.
