Procedures and Contemporary Issues in Women's Health

FMIG students had the chance to discuss the family medicine approach and gain hands-on procedure experience. Students could plan up to three topics they wanted to try: 

Basics of the Woman-Centered Pap Smear and Colposcopy
A Chance to Practice IUD placement
A Review of Birth Control Case Studies
Hands on Practice of Vaginal Deliveries
How to Promote and Problem-Solve around Breastfeeding
The Steps for Providing Medical Terminations

The evening was hosted at Hahnemann Family Health Center so that students could familiarize themselves with our state-of-the-art family medicine health center.
