The Worcester Business Journal has named three members of the UMass Chan Medical School leadership team to its 2024 Power 100 list. Michael F. Collins, chancellor and senior vice president for the health sciences; Marlina Duncan, EdD, vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion; and Parth Chakrabarti, MPH, MBA, executive vice chancellor for innovation and business development, were named among the region’s most influential business leaders.

“It is a privilege to be part of an organization with such rich talent across our mission areas,” said Chancellor Collins. “This recognition also reaffirms UMass Chan’s significant impact on the Central Massachusetts economy.”

The WBJ developed its power list in 2014 to recognize the region’s business leaders in multiple sectors, including health and education, who wield the greatest positive influence on the Central Massachusetts economy. In 2024, the Power 100 list expanded to recognize 100 leaders, up from 50 in previous years.

The Power 100 special issue was published in print and online April 29.
